Short list of celebrities attending the 2010 Freedom Awards

This November 7th, 2010 the Freedom Awards will celebrate heroes of the anti-slavery movement. The awards are open to organizations and individuals working to eradicate human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Nominations come from the U.S. and around the world, and winners are selected by independent international committees.

In attendance will be a number of celebrities and diplomats coming together to celebrate freedom and raise awareness of modern slavery. Here is the short list of celebs who will be attending and the list is growing daily.


Jason Mraz
Award winning musician and artist Jason Mraz will be performing at the 2010 Freedom Awards. He traveled with Free the Slaves this summer to do field work in Ghana. Read the full story and watch his interview.

This celeb husband and wife super duo are also the co-founders of the Demi & Ashton Foundation, which fights human trafficking.
