om Awards 2010This November 7th, 2010 the Freedom Awards will celebrate heroes of the anti-slavery movement. The awards are open to organizations and individuals working to eradicate human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Nominations come from the U.S. and around the world, and winners are selected by independent international committees.
The Freedom Awards will be hosted by the witty humor of Sir Ken Robinson and the Freedom Rocks after-party will be hosted actor Ryan Devlin of Brothers & Sisters and Cougar Town.
The awards will feature live performances by Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz, Rickie Byars Beckwith & the Agape International Choir, Rocky Dawuni and String Theory.
Guest speakers Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Michael Bernard Beckand President of Free the Slaves, Dr. Kevin Bales, along with many others will share inspiring stories of freedom and survival.
The event is being held in Los Angeles and tickets start at $13. Tickets can be purchased online at www.freetheslaves.net.
